If your reading this then you are either an associate or independent distributor for a network marketing, MLM company, or you are considering becoming one. Either way I will first say I commend you on your desire to earn income from home.

If you are anything like me you probably are looking for a competitive edge in growing your home based business. I will tell you that there are no short cuts and that growing your business is going to take time. I will also tell you that if you think that the top leaders may be doing something a little different than what you are taught to do, then you are Absolutely Correct!

That’s not to say that they are not doing a minimum of two exposures a day, attending one meeting a week and all that jazz. I am saying, that they are doing much more than that.

If you think you will get rich by handing out two DVD’s a day to your friends and family or by put them on a conference call and three waying in your expert you are sadly mistaken. You will recruit some, maybe a lot, but to become rich you have to do more.

Now to be fair I will say that the tactic’s I mentioned above while very outdated, are not the real problem. I say outdated because these are the methods that are taught by all network marketing companies and have been taught by them since multilevel marketing first began.

Because it has been used and taught for so long, now when you go up to a stranger, friend or family member and you ask them “Hey do you keep your income options open?” and you hand them a DVD or tell them to listen to a recorded sizzle call, people are beginning to recognize this approach and really starting not to appreciate it very much.
People have lost friends from this approach, and have overall really given network marketing or multilevel marketing a bad reputation.

So What are the top leaders in Network Marketing doing to make all this money?

Well they are definitely doing exposures but they are not doing two a day.

Try maybe hundreds or more each day….Yes that is right many of the top network marketers do hundreds of exposures everyday.

The industry of direct sales and multilevel marketing is all about exposures the more exposures you make the more money you make. So it only makes sense that you have to become a great marketer and learn how to generate leads.
You need leads! I mean unless you have hundreds of friends and family members then you will eventually run out of people to talk to about your MLM home based business. The top income earners never run out of people to talk to. They have more leads coming in than they can personally handle, and they teach their top executive directors to do the same.

You should not get angry about this at all though. You probably already knew that you needed to do more. Now you know that the only thing standing in the way of you earning that six figure ring is the ability to always have an endless supply of leads to talk to.

Now your probably asking yourself how do you generate leads? Well that is not a simple question because I have seen leaders do it all sorts of ways. I know of a Platinum four who uses careerbuilder to generate leads. If you are thinking great I’ll do that too… Hold on just a minute. While it is a great idea, understand that it is going to cost you an arm and a leg to use this approach but hey a platinum four can afford it right?

Top network marketing leaders generate leads in a multitude of ways. They use magazine ads, newspaper ads, and especially online ads to generate enormous amounts of leads. Online ads are probably the most effective approach but it really takes knowledge on how to get to the top of google search results unless you pay to be placed on top which is going to cost a lot of money as well.

Of course you can simply buy leads from a vast number of lead companies online.

So now you know that:

So what exactly do I do, what is the how-to?

You’ve probably been told that if you want to have success then you just need to do what the successful people are doing.

While this is a brilliant concept and truly does make a lot of sense the problem is that you don’t know what the successful people are truly doing. Wouldn’t it be nice to actually be taught exactly how to talk to a prospect? Or how to actually sell your product or service?
